In order to obtain indications of the expectations of the population and stakeholders regarding the geothermal project in St.Gallen, the city, in cooperation with the Risk Dialogue Foundation, has already conducted discussions with the population and stakeholders at an early stage of the project..

It becomes obvious, that the project is associated with great hopes, but nonetheless the concrete implementation lies in the future in terms of perception and this is trustingly left to experts. However, it is also clearly noticeable that the population wants to discuss with those responsible at eye level. This first proactive dialogue has been successful. The basis of trust between the various stakeholders was thus further strengthened. This made it possible to document the needs of the different actors as well as explosive topics in the public sphere at an early stage.
